My Story:

Nothing is better than being able to share music
with other people, no matter where we may find
ourselves in the world . It's something that I take rather  seriously  at  PianoStudioNantucket, since I know that some of us will travel
off this island , fullfilling our dreams and living up to our promises to  family and friends and some of us will come back ready to give back to the island we grew up on.
It's important to me that the experience of learning music in a creative and fun manner, in a joyful environment, will stay with you for a lifetime, as a parent or a student.

Since beginning more than 3 decades ago,
I've witnessed the students who learn to play an instrument
come to play a bigger role in the island community
if they can share what they do.
The studio has grown because
we involve ourselves with local venues
and with players from all over.
The more people we meet and musicians we interact with
the more we learn - which allows us to be better teachers and players.

No matter how long I've played the piano and how many students I've taught, I am  always learning, too. That's the real beauty of playing music - it is a journey and not a destination, and one we really love being a part of.
